Do you mean a 35-40 year old gasket? No, you can get a new gasket that will fit the 250.

Your header bolts are most likely corroded and should not be re-used. You can get the Stage 8 locking system if you want to spend the money. I don't have the link but someone else will provide it.

Sorry, I can't help you with that. You will be very pleased with the Pacemeaker header. What muffler(s) will you be using? I would recommend Borla ProXs mufflers.

the header gasket is new just old stock OEM. I got it with the steel shim head gasket set. I would like to get the head gasket installed to increase the compression also. i do not know if i should use the header gasket or purchase a fel-pro gasket.

anybody have any suggestions?

thanks
John

IMO, go with the Felpro. I'm having exhaust gaskets custom manufactured for FSPP, but they won't be available for a while. One of our members works for a gasket company and e-mailed me last week with the info. 8)

Look in the pipes, there should be new bolts tucked in one of them. Unless they fell out and were loose in the box. In that case, have fun digging thru all those peanuts.

Actually, sometimes Pacemaker includes the bolts, but I have also recieved them without. Usually they are in a bag that is taped just inside one of the pipes if they came with them. If not, go with the stage 8's. Marco sells them for a reasonable price.
