any chance that we might see some new camshaft designs that will match this new head or will the existing fspp ones work? will big cams idle smoother or rougher?

8) i am sure that mike will share the flow charateristics with his cam grinder, and that clay smith will grind suitable cams. bigger cams will always idle rougher regardless of port design, unless you add cubic inches. remember that larger cams also include larger valve overlap, and that is where your idle quality suffers.

I'll ask the engineer next time I talk to him, which will be next week. I'm dying to know the results on the exhaust ports.

I tried that with the valve covers, but had very little success. Only two guys sent in a deposit for them. Most want to know a firm price first.

If you want to help out with funds, buy a cap . I had a lot of guys tell me they would buy an FSPP cap if I made them, so I did, 200 of them. But have only sold 18 to date.

I have too many caps I don't wear right now. I looked over the valve covers you had, and I am interested but I was confused as to what the final design was gonna look like. I like the black powder coat witht the polished fins. If that is the design, I am interested.

EDIT: I looked it over again. Ford Blue would look sweet too. If either, count me in. I don't want a crome or polished one, that is for sure.

The final decision is to do them in three powder coated colors. Black, Ford blue, and Ford red. All three colors will have polished fins. I'll also offer unfinished for those who want to have them fully polished or DIY. Here's the black one, but the fins haven't been polished yet (getting it done next week). I'll try to post pics of the blue and red ones next week, if they are ready before I leave for SEMA. A variety of caps can be used, anything with a 1 1/4" pushin.

I notice the ultra low profile OHC-to-flathead conversion kit there. Is that your surprise product for SEMA?

OK HERES AN ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!! I thought a cap would be cool and saw the one pictured on azcoupes site and it seemed really crappy looking and a little overprice but when I got it it puts all of my other hats to shame.. its an awesome design, looks great, I wear it to all of the shows I goto. Just the one he has pictured looks like a cheap iron on but its fully embroided... You WOULD NOT reget buying one I promise...
