Has anyone ever run a check valve in their fuel system? I installed one on my '67 Fleetwood as it took FOREVER to get fuel through 22' of fuel line after the car had been sitting, and while it doesn't take nearly as long in the Falcon, there is a clear difference in cranking time if I let the fuel pump run for 10-15 seconds before trying to start versus not. Seems like with modest fuel needs a check valve shouldn't inhibit flow in any sort of practical way. Any thoughts on the matter?
