Fuel pump leaking oil

For the last two weeks my fuel pump has been leaking oil out of a little hole on the top of the fuel pump. I thought it was a vent hole or something but the guy at the parts store said it's a weap hole and that there shouldn't be anyhting coming out of it unless the fuel pump is bad. The pump seems to be working fine, I haven't had any running problems with it yet. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

lol itll leek till ya change it ,, most of the time it will be soon coz it will stop pumping ,, some times they last for some time but youll get oil spots all over the back of your car

Smell the oil in the crankcase too,for an odor of gasoline.If you can smell gas,change fuel pump and oil,NOW.
Gas thinned oil=dead motor.
