looking into electric pumps and was wondering just how much fuel at what pressure i actually need for a early to mid 60's 1100/1101
TIA

Probably from 5 to 8 psi. 8 is generally max for a carb. With an electric pump a bypass regulator is best but more expensive.

Very little, probally as little as 3lb. the small elec pump i think runs at 3-5 lbs and is recommended for 6 cylinder applications.

was thinking the umber-cheap Professional Products #10701 30 +/- 5 GPH at 2-4psi or the #10700 4-7 psi or simular inline pump straped to the firewall or inside the tranny hump to hide it and the pre-pump filter

can i seal/modify a standard pump to make it appear unmolested, i have an old screw together pump body ..probally original, so i could pass the fuel through the stock pump/filter... thinking a 22-26ga plate between the pump/block remove the diaphram/arm an use a piece of the same thin steel to seal it?? maybe aluminum what are these things made of?

and what type of fuel line can i use between the electric pump and original? how about fuel ingection rubber line or is steel/hard line stock?... i dont think that they stretched a rubber line between the tank and the pump  .. like it is now..

I bought a cheap $20 in line fuel filter and pump off ebay, mounted it to the frame rail and haven't had any trouble since. I used a Chevy block off plate for the old mechanical fuel pump area.

You could use rubber line for a little while...I like hard lines though. They don't detiorate like the rubber will after a year or two. I still got the rubber hose going from the carb to filter (about 6 inches worth) but it's all metal the rest of the way. Hmmm....i bet it would look good with a polished filter and line all the way...
