Ok who has gotten the best economy out of their small Ford six. Post your numbers.
8) i am averaging about 22 mpg right now. that includes getting 21 while towing a small trailer from shenandoah national park to allison park, pa(north end of pittsburg). oddly enough my mustang got slightly better mileage with a V8 than the falcon does, but that will change soon.

usually 19-20mpg combined (40% city/60% hwy), best is 21.6 
I average 300+ miles per week. The 2.73 is great on the freeway but anyplace else. I tried running 20/50 oil and mileage dropped, (no other changes) lesson learned.
