grafting a ef el harmonic balancer onto a xflow

does any know if the snout of a 4.0l crank is the same diameters as the 4.1 xflow want to run a sepanbelt and relocate powersteering pump due to the manifold
 
thats ok the length can be modded either by machining the balancer or using a spacer my idea is to hard mount alt and power steering pump on the driverside i i can run an ea mulipoint manifold with out the powersteering pump getting in the way
 
Depending on which one you get ,and are we talking inside or outside Diametre.My books have the xe/xf at 31mm crank bore.Some of the later ohc engines ar listed at 31.6mm ,and one model at 32mm crank bore.Could be a little loose on the crank?
 
ive fitted EL balances onto EA motors with no problems.... And people have used EA 3.9 cranks in late XF 250's .... so going of this i figure it all has to fit
 
If you ran a serpentine belt setup on a pre-OHC, would the water pump need to run the other way?
 
i havent got that far yet but u can make it spin anyway u like its the way u configer the belt atm im waiting for my ba p/s pump have to mount it on the drivers side above the alternator
 
How much space do you think this will pick up at the front compared to a V-belt? That is one thing I am looking at.
 
ivalready dummy fitted everythin in my engine bay exept the powersteering pump everything clears im not using the standard fan iv got el thermo fans which fit in nicely
