well when i had to change my header gasket a few months ago because of an exhuast leak i had a problem with the header being warped and not being able to get the first header bolt in on the number 1 cyl and now when trying to replace the header gasket again because of a leak and the same problem happened but since i replaced the bolts in in a different order and the bolt on the top of port number 3 wont go in now and i was wondering if anyone on here has had a similar problem and if so how did u fix it

I had the same problem. To be honest, I really can't remember exactly what I did but I know I had to try several different bolts first and did some tugging and pulling to get it in place. my #6 exhaust flange leaks a little from warpage. Has anyone else experienced this with pacemaker headers?

I have a set of pacemakers and I ran into the same problem when I changed the exhaust gasket for the first time. You have to pry the front section the header to stretch far enough to get your bolt started, if you've started from the back, or vice versa.

yea i did that the first time but when i replaced it this time i left the bolt on the bottom of 1 and 6 in but loose so i thought i wouldnt have the same problem but now it is the bolt on the top of the 3 and 4 flange that wont go in
