Headers swap

Do I need the t-splitter that goes in the head between exhaust ports 3 and 4 to put headers on a 170/200 and have the headers work the way they are supposed to?

8) you dont need the port divider, but some people install it to improve exhaust flow in those ports. the improvements in power are not much, and probably not worth the effort for a street engine, but if you are going racing, you need every bit of help you can get.
