Got the 250 heal all milled and ported, tripower is set, carbs are on the way.

I have adjustable rockers off the 200 with a hydraulic cam going in. Do I need to shim the rocker pedestals?

Any other things that need to happen?

to determine if you need to shim the pedestals, first bolt them up and check the rocker arm geometry.

Adjustable rockers are simple enough, caution is needed not to inadvertently bind cam/pushrods/rocker/valve if adjuster is tight as assembled dry and then 'bumped' over. Assembly concerns related are: Head Bolts using any washers?., milled head and modern gasket target static CR = ?.... .

Pre-lubing with oil pump drive (oiling lifters) while hand-rotating assembly is always recommended .
