OK.Problem.Pulled the 4.0 fuelie jeep engine from a 94 Cherokee and replaced it with another engine identical to it.Now.There's a wire bundle running from the driver's side to the passenger side which branches off right over the coolant overflow tank on the firewall. All it has coming out is a black wire and a red wire together that are run to a plug with a plastic housing on the wire with a bolt hole to mount to something.the wires are about a foot and a half long.Does ANYONE know what in god's name this plugs into?
Also the engine has a hell of a miss at over 2500 rpms and will die as soon as I step on the clutch.Anyone have any ideas?

Look at this pic and get an idea of which wire I'm talking about.

A larger picture might help a bit. I may be able to help, If I could ID the plug & actual year of the replacement engine. I'm assuming this was a used engine??
