I want to install a 78+ waterpump on my older six to get the fan closer, and 30% better flow, I saw this on one of the sights linked through this forum, and now I can't find it again. The only thing it did not have was the year/model of where to get the pulleys, and or brackets for this update. Thanks. I am replacing the 65-200 with a 68-200, and want to use the longer late model 78+ waterpump. Can anyone out there help?

Thanks again for the support,

SSG Manning

From 78 up, 200 engines were usually found in Fox bodies like Fairmont/Zephyrs and variants (81-up Granada, LTD) , some 78-79 Granada's, early Mustangs/Capris. Look for AC equipped cars.

When getting a rebuilt pump, look for a cast iron impeller with 8 or more vanes instead of the stamped steel impeller.

Hey Sarg, how you making out on the pulley thing? I'am having a like problem with a 300, cant find a pulley, any Ideas. AF Sgt.
