high energy sumps---- f---

got my sump done,,,, it didnt fit with the hv oil pump( slightly),
was told to dint a bit of metal out.

did this carefully,,,

went to put it on and long way it was a banana,......

wtf

this sux , dont they use a jig???????

anyone had this experience\?????????

no i didn't , i was told no probs by performance shop guy..

when i dinged the matal out i made sure it didnt bent the pan.....

besides it's more bent at the opposite end of the pan compared to the oil pump.....

I had the same kinda problem, it didnt sit flush on the block, it was warped... i was rather pissed. i just bolted it up... Then the crank scraper hit the crank, so it had to come of again. IT was a real pain in the bum...

And now i hAVE an oil leak (slight) from the sump gasket.... arh well ya carnt win

my mate has had major dramas with high energy with his 351c.... it got to the stage and his 3rd sump of theirs that they ended up giving him one of their top of the line jobs as he was going to seek legal action and warned them if this one stuffed up he would, well, hence to say its got a slight warp and is leaking oil...will keep you posted if he decides to take things up with them legally
