Holley 1940 "Y" Carb

Hi all,

I have a Holley 1940 DOPF "Y" designated carb and from my research it looks like it was a replacement for the old 223 inline. I think it has a SCV but I was hoping to confirmation on that. Please see the photos below:

R 4536 AAS, additional BPN plate for 1963-64 Ford Service, 223 Engine is DOPF-9510-Y

Safe bet its all SCA, big venturi 1.352", and a mighty 212 cfm at 3"Hg.

Outstanding. Thanks for all the info. You certainly answered my next set of questions. I am going to put in on my small log 200 with LOM distrib. The 200 is stock, is there anything I might need to be mindful of as I switch from the autolite 1100 to the 1940?
