Holley carb # 1946

Anyone know where I can get the Holley 1946 carb redone for drag racing. I drag race , and use the 1949 and can also use the 1946 carb. Thanks.

Very interesting. What is the vehicle that you are racing? What is a 1949 carb? What does "Redone" for drag racing. I apologize for my ignorance. Please educate me.

I drag race a 4 cyclinder Tempo in NHRA stock class. I run the non feed back carb that comes from Canada. I can run the Holley 1946 because it has the same TB and venturi sizes. I need to see if someone has worked on the 1946 for more CFM flow or better performance.

I haven't done anything major, but I went up 2 jet sizes, and you can also squeeze in the accelerator pump u-bend to get more gas. Most people here pull them in favour of a Holley 5200 or 2300.

Will be getting a air fuel ratio unit , so I can dial in the jet. I also have access to a flow bench, and will be flowing some of the diff carbs I have and see if one has more CFM then another.
