Hey

today i test drove my car with my new c-4 tranny, and when the temp gauge got to about half way between hot and cold my motor would not idle. I timed it and dwelled it and still seems to be doing this. on a cold motor i was idleing at about 725 rpm. its a brand new rebuilt 200ci 6. only about 25 miles on it. i did build it for high compression. Anyone know what my problem is. i hate driving my dodge v-10 around, i'd rather be sixing around. HELP ME

Make sure your choke is disengaging. It's possible that your choke is not going off, and that will cause idle problems when the car is warm.

A defective coil or condenser can work on a cold motor, then fail as it warms up.

Like they said above....
Plus, a vacuum leak can cause this same situation, if your choke is working OK.

If you just installed the C4, check that the hose that runs from the back of the tranny up to the intake manifold (or possibly to a little 'manifold' of ports on the firewall, THEN to the intake manifold - on some cars) is plugged in. If not there will be a 1/4" hole leaking into your intake manifold - a pretty stiff vacuum leak.
