I am building a 250. I have degreed the cam and came up with 112* center. I have a CS 264/274- 110*cam. I want to advance the cam to 106*. How can I do this. I can not find a offset crankshaft key that will work or a crankshaft sprocket with added key ways cut.

My machinest handled this for me but I believe he used an offset crankshaft keyway for a small block Ford...but I believe he had to cut it down cuz it was too long...not quite sure on that part.

As posted above , an offset key way is the easiest , but I have to ask you are talking Lobe Center line ( intake ) , and not the Lobe separation ( which is fixed at 110)

The offset crank keys that I used were by Mr Gasket...2 degree key is part# 987G and 4 degree key is part# 988G. Hope this helps.

I tried the offset crank keys but they were not long enough. I took the crank gear to the machine shop and ask him to cut a new keyway, but he couldn't do it because the gear is made of harden steel. So we tried the cam gear and he was able to cut the new key way in it. It took three tries. The first try was 101*, the second try was 110*, the third try was 106 * what I was looking for.
thanks
