I have a Weber 34/36 with electric choke. I would like to change it to a manual choke. Any ideas?

Hi, Rocky;
Where in Denver do you live? I'm in Lakewood/Englewood.

The choke conversion kits from Checkmate almost fit. You have to add a little chain (like a ball chain from Home Depot) or a spring to pull on the choke lever itself, other wise it's so stiff that something will eventually break.

Napa also has a manual conversion kit, don't know if it would fit the Weber though.
Do any of you know of any decent machine shops out here? I just moved out here, I live in Stasburg, east along I70. Take care,
Edwin

I just haven't had good luck getting the electric ones to work right. Since I already have a choke cable in my Falcon I thought I would go that route.

I use Blue Oval in Denver. Rob has a very good shop. He does mostly performance work. But will do the regular stuff too. 303-762-8298 is his number
