As soon as i can find the battery charger for the dig. cam I'll try to post a pic or 2, have come up with a real off the wall intake system. The Holley air cleaner is a low profile with a rectangular air cleaner on both sides of a large chrome center. only 2" above the carb but 18" wide overall with K&N filters on each end. This will sit on top of a Motorcraft 102 carb with weber 34ICT's on each end of the log on dual port runner/adapters on progressive linkage. The weber stuff is an "EMPI" vw hop up kit heavily modified. The webers have the cone shaped K&N's and the plan is to mount them with 90* elbows to make them parralell to the Holley filters. Actually nothing real new just useing a small 2 barrell instead of a large 1 bbl for the center carb. and with the adapters that i've made up for the webers it actually has a 1 barrell to 2 port adapter built in(designed for VW 2 port heads) that will line up perfectly with the outboard cylinder ports on the log.
The Holley was a Napa find--was looking at a crate engine with it on it (just gawking with lust)--had a $200 tag on it. was thinking that would be perfect but too much$$$$ then noticed a flaw in the casting and said "hey how much discount" the guy looked at it and said give me $75 and i whipped it out.
Always be ready for a deal. Have seen them on older chevy's before especially on late 50's 327 fuel injected. Just thought to look in Summit catalogue --there it is, part # HLY-64280 "Holley Hi-Tech"
