I got a free motorcraft 2150 from a friend of mine off of a early 80s ford with a v6. The carb is a 1.08 venturi so it should be good for a 250, and it should have good velocity though the venturis. Anyways I adapted it onto the log manifold with an adapter I made and a 2bbl adapter (I know its not the optimum but I wanted to try it to see if it would work). I started the car up but it completely refused to idle. I could get it to rev up to 3K and it sounded awesome
but it would just stumble and die afterward. There is a port of some sort underneath the float bowl area which leaks fuel, I plugged it with a vacuum plug. When I took the carb off of my friends parts car, I took a picture but I cannot see what that port is supposed to be connected to. I included a picture I took today (sorry its crappy quality but the only thing I had with me was a cellphone and a flashlight) and the port is labeled as B. Also what are the two other ports? I know C is probably a bwl vent of some sort, right? Anyways If there are any other suggestions as to what else I can do to get the carb to idle please let me know. I also included the old pic that was taken in daylight when it was still on the parts car.
