The Ozstang is reborn after all this time. I got the tranny back in today and the car got it's first little road test! I did the shelby drop, 9" rear swap and a disc brake conversion at the same time as the engine swap.
Right now I am just running the little Stromberg 1V carby with the stock exhaust manifold, crow cam, and a duraspark 2. I am still have alot of fine tuning to do here. Got a small little list of odds and ends to fix.
Even right now, with the crossflow in a fairly mild state, the crossflow puts the old US 200 to shame. This thing really pulls compared to the old one! I need to get the car aligned and maybe have the brakes power bleed and get some new licenses plates. Then I car really push it.
Plans down the road are to do a turbo or supercharger and a 2V carb and headers.
