Mustangaroo Supercharger installed - pictures **Update**

An easier way to drop the charge temp is using water injection; Spearco used to offer a product in the $200 (US) range.

If you want to run an intercooler, I'd recommend a smaller air/liquid unit which minimizes pressure drop because you can put it right inline with your existing ductwork, and just run fluid lines to a small cooler up in the nose.

Also, Paxton used to offer an external cooler for their centrifugal superchargers, it was some sort of a pickup tube and return line that went through the dipstick tube on the blower, and the cooler was just an oil cooler plumbed to the nose of the car.

I'm surprised you're able to keep those two belts on, I had a Paxton on my RX-7 and if it was misaligned even the littlest bit I'd throw the serpentine belt in less than 500 miles.

Just lucky I guess I havn't had any problems with the belts or for that mader anything else with the Supercharger or the setup that I am running. BTW, I have a T-Brid Supercoupe intercooler but have not had any reason to install it yet.

Update:
I was running 3:55 rear end gears in my 8 inch rear till yesterday, I pulled them and installed another pumkin with 3:00's now cruise rpm is only 2,900 @ 70 mph, I'll play with this setup for a few weeks then install my 3:25 pumkin and decide which one I like best for the type of driving that I do. The 3:55 may be a bit too low for street use with the supercharger I could almost hit 4,200 rpm before exiting the back side of the intersections while in first gear, then needing to shift to second, all just a little to fast for me, I have more time now between the gears to watch the tach and the boost gage to see what the hell I am doing!  8)

BTW It's running very good on the street, no problems except something must be wrong with my gas gage all of a sudden it keeps reading empty weekly?  These higher gears should help that a bunch.......

Ben,
That "gas gauge" problem is probably caused by the added fun factor of a supercharger and scraching that itchy bottom of your right foot! :D
Remember there's an inverse relationship between the tachometer and fuel gauge.
When the tach goes to the right, the fuel gauge will go to the left!

There really isn't anything I can say that hasn't already been said.

Simply awesome!!!!

Like everyone else I can't wait to see some video clips and dyno results.

I finally have my car up and running fairly smooth. I think it's still to rich but runs good. I just put an electric fan on her the other day. I hope to have my website back up soon and throw some pics and video's.
