My first mod

Well yesterday I went up to my work to put on a 300+ accel ignition box and a msd blaster 2. Went real smooth in the beginning first I added a cigarette lighter since my car came without from the factory. Then I went in to the engine compartment whoo what a mess never messed with the wiring dont know anything bout it LOL. Got in there for bout 1.5 hours and had it just set up and running not tied down or permanantley fixed to the wires mmm sounded good. Then started bolting it to the side wall ran into problem of tires clearing screws sent in package, so I used some of the shops self tapping bolts. I moved on the butting the wires down and it went to hell from there, make a long story a very short one it pays to have a volt meter cause when they say 12 volt ignition thats exaclty what they mean LOL. I had changed the main wire I was going to use to a different one and I started at 430pm and got out of there at 1130. :cry: Oh well I can definatley tell a difference now great acceleration and getty up and go passing gear is a whole near gear. :D It lives it lives :twisted:
 
thats awesome...i really noticed the difference with the MSD 2 blaster coil...i think it has the same votage output....really sweet....
 
Yes I am and its not the 300 accel its the 275 sorry for the confusion. And I have the balster 2 coil too, say that three times fast LOL
 
I dunno...but I know its not points....it electronic....but its not any fancy name brand cause it would say then...
 
Yeah thats something else mine is also the duraspark electronic distibutor. Going to throw a new cap and bug and some plugs and wires on there tomorrow as well. Also doing the 3000 mile change of fluids.
