I have finally gotten around to fitting the ADM34 Weber to my 221. Initially the bottom end power seemed down on the stromberg but after getting the powervalve working properly and swapping the aircorrection jets, (I now have 160 on primary and 180 on secondary, mains are 135 and 220 idle is 60 and 70 on secondary) it seems somewhat better but not as much as i hoped for. The idle still seems a little rich and I think some further tuning will help. Are jets available for the primary low speed circuit ? It uses a two stage idle jet but I have bipassed the second stage.
I am also yet to fit the return line or Fuel regulator although it seems to run fine without such.
Whats Best here ?
Heres some links to pics of the inlet before and after, the hole was 40mm now is 50mm.. and the adaptor. In hindsight I should have made the adaptor plate thicker as it would have given me smoother flow..
The problem now is i wnat more power still, Bigger cam maybe as well as more carbs..
