i've been working on the mustang a lot more. i took off the intake manifold and the valve cover and cleaned them up and repainted them with a silver spray paint. i doubt it will burn off because it won't get hot enough. I cleaned up the throttle body and painted that as well. I plan on getting a lot of mechanical things taken care of too.

I'm getting the headers ceramic coated soon. They weren't coated at all and they were getting a little rusty. I'll take pictures and post them if you guys want. I'll also be adding dual exhaust.

I was just glad to take care of a few things and come one step closer to finishing my car. my dad and i also designed a great turbo kit for the crossflow and the results would be amazing. By using Engine Analyzer we found that 12-16 pounds of boost would be amazing. if you guys have any questions or comments feel free to comment here or PM me.

I can't belive how cruddy things get from just sitting for so long. It's looking a LOT better now.

I guess a new exhaust is next.

i just realized i probably posted this in the wrong section. oh well.

Dude, you have to hook into that bodywork. It won't do itself!

That said, anything cleaned and serviced is better than dirty and ignored.

right now it's pretty clean looking. just semi rusty with very hazy paint.

i want to take care of all the mechanical things first.

headers, dual exhaust, and things like that.

Yeah, I'd get banned fer sure......

OTOH, the Locust is getting a black suede paint job. and I'm using lefotover red mustang seat covers.....looks pretty good.

What does it cost for the coating on the headers? I am getting a used set and that may be a better way to go then paint.

i just got a quote from jet hot for a six cylinder header after everything it will be $202.05 i think plus shipping
oh yeah that's for the stirling finish
