Need help getting care started

Can some one out there walk me throught the intial start up on my inline 200. I have a holley 2bb with manual choke and swaped out to piontless ingition, also have dual headers.

1) Can i set the timing with just headers on it?
2) When I get it cranked I give it alittle choke and it start no problem. Then it ideals fast and shuts off after about 30 sec unless I keep giving it gas.

Also as a side not does anyone out ther have a 65 mustang inline 6 with a holley 350 2bb, cause I need some ideas on the linkage. I have a drop down air cleaner to get over the clearence issue. Pictures would be great/ Thank to all that can help me

Not familiar with the Holley but I'd say it needs to be pre-adjusted and your timing may be a bit advanced, the others here will be able to give you better advice than me

Also it sounds like it could be running out of fuel :roll:
