the holley/webber is too much trouble... so im junking it!
anyone have sugestions on what would be a really good or easy 2v carb for a 200cid? im runing a 264cam extended package.

OK, one suggestion first. Can you get it running otherwise OK with a decent 1 barrel carb (if you have the old one still)? I would treat that as a milestone, then move onto a 2V carb install.

Did you break in the cam as per maker's instructions? How is the advance curve? What are the plug gaps? These are all important details that don't change with the carb, but can equally affect your running.

everything is done its just the carb is running really rich and cant adjust it down... this is all being professionaly done and im learning from him... he told me to junk it becuase its a bad rebuild and look for a rochester... right now im runing the setup with the h/w 2v so i can just get to work till the end of the week then im dropping ti back off with the mechanic and the new carb while im gone to FL

It probably needs to be rejetted, or needs a new idle screw if the idle is rich. Sometimes they get damaged if someone overtightens them. You could buy a new weber DGV or DGEV. Are you running a PCV? That will lean it out a bit.

Don't trash the carb, if anything, I'll pay the cost of shipping to me :D
