new problem with the holley

so I found my kinked fuel line and fixed that..now I have a new problem...

my fuel bowl seems to be pressurising now?

if I remove the sight plug it will run fine and there is no fuel leakage. replace plug or simeply put finger over opening and it loads up and dies (black smoke and plugs)

I am running a 1978 pump on my motor but that shouldn't make a difference should it? I am getting tired of these problems!!!

Wrong metering block gaskets? Vent stopped up? You should be able to blow down thru the bowl vent.

well I changed the gaskets and the PV to a spare set and all if good now. I am starting to think maybe it is just hte plugs that have been fouled alot just needed a good "pull" to clean them up some
