? on a C4

TURBOCHARGED66STANG hear and am trying to put my car together i got a C-4 and believe it to be a Vee-Eight tranny and it seems to have a bigger input shaft because it will not fit my torque converter if i fined a input shaft for a inline 6 tranny will it innerchange??????? if not is their a different year torque converter i can use that will work?

24 & 26 spline input shafts were used.

24 spline is pre-1970

thank you Crosley for the info :!: now i just have to fined a 26 spline torque converter if you know of one that has a 9 1/4" bolt pattern that's for sale just let me know. again thanks
