I have a 66 mustang with a 68 200 cid engine.

Can anyone tell me if the following adapter will work with a Holley 350 carb? Anyone had any luck with this product?

$47.00
99004.550: Universal one barrel to two barrel adapter.
Adapts DGV series Weber carbs to some Jeeps and Internationals. One barrel has stud hole spacing of 2 1/2" to 3 1/8". Two barrel side has 1 3/4" to 2 3/16" by 3 1/4" to 3 11/16". Measure your bolt pattern center to center and see if it fits in this range. Note one barrel side can be rotated 90 degrees. Measures 1 5/8" tall.

No I don't think it will

I have the trans dapt adapter for the holley 2300 from summit and it seem ok, I don't have it on the car yet though. I was 30$

Nope, as the text says it's for Weber DGV series carbs (same as Holley-Weber 5200). Autolites and Holley 2300 series carbs (350/500) have a different pattern.

Thanks for the replies....

Does anyone have a Holley 350 in hand that could measure the distance between the bolt holes end to end along the length and then width of the carb?

If the fit will be an issue in selecting an adapter, I may need that measurement.

I'm deployed and trying to get the parts for when I return.

Thanks,

Anyone have a spare Holley 350 that can measure the bolt hole distances on it for me?

I don't have one in hand...and won't until July.

Looking for the distance between the bolt holes on the long side and short side.

Thanks,
Steve-O

I have weilded the 5200 adapter just like that one to a thin 2300 adapter and mounted it to a VW intake... but it does increase the heigth..

the 2L Beetle motor was quite responcive but I thik it was more due to the Holley 350...

I just bought a Autolite 2100 1.08, so where can i get an adaptor for this carb for an E0 head?

For some reason I thought the weber and all just fit the same, I guess i was wrong. Let me know.

summit racing sells one that will work, it is made by trans dapt, they make them in two sizes for two different size manifolds, measure the carb bolt spacing on your head to see what one will fit, the one from summit is the least expensive one I have seen

I dont remember off the top of my head what the bolt spacing you want is, but I will check in the morning.

What it looks like to me...The clifford adapter sets the carb up at 45 degree or so angle requiring more work for throttle linkages or a throttle cable.

Pic of the clifford adapter...holes for the base to manifold are not inline with the carb base.

Thanks, good to be able to see more of each adapter.
