pcv valve

ive got a 66 falcon w/200 i6 i would like to replace the pcv valve but can't
figure out how to remove it. it doesn't unscrew out and i can't seem to pull it out
do you have to take the valve cover off? i don't get it. help?

i believe should slide right out. could have a "flange" on the bottom of the valve and if the rubber gasket is a little hard it could make it quite difficult to remove.

If the rubber gasket has hardened, you'll really have to yank on the PVC valve. You'll probably break the gasket too.

thanks i was afraid to pull too hard if there was somthing holding it in there
im pretty sure the gasket is toast anyway

Jus get yaself a new vlv cover gasket {in case} and pull off the cover. See what ya got!..ZZ
