I've been looking at this page off and on for a while now.
Anyone (Mike) have news on this product?

We're still going to make them, my machinist has just been to busy to get to them. Partly because I keep giving him new projects..... Hopefully we'll have some ready in a couple weeks. I just need to decided which one to do first.

Mike, the cross section shows a funnel throat but the isometric looks like the throat has a flat floor with bolt holes. Is that just an artifact of CG or is it supposed to have a funnel throat with flat bottom recesses for the bolts cut into the funnel on either side? I'm interested too.

The phenolic piece is an insert for the carb adapter that Mike makes. The carb adapter is a machined piece that has the flat bottom; the phenolic insert has the taper for improved flow to the log head opening.

On the side view drawing it shows those sharp inside corners: this will cause stress risers to form and ultimately the phenolic will crack. I suggest making as large a radius in that area as practical.
