thanks and did anyone notice anything strange about the body style? first off it is a custom cab which is cool but there is something else can anyone see it? i did not even notice it till the owner mentioned it to me lol.

Are you talking about the unibody design? '63 was a switch over year, I think. Late '63s got the bed like '64-66 pickups. If you purchased a pickup from '61 to mid '63 and got a wide box without the unibed design then the bed did not match the styling of the rest of the truck (it was a carry over of the '57-60 bed).

fred you are close. no this is not a unibody truck but the bed is wrong. the truck is a 63 but the bed is a 59. up close it is a very nice combo i can't wait he is towing it over tomorrow.

Very cool, just my style. Paint those rims red to match with some chrome trim rings and you'd be set. I love the red roof and scallops. Post soem more pics wehen you finally get it.

Karfer, is that a spotlight on the other side? They used that bed up until 63', from 61'-63' they were Unibodys, stepsides, and those "boxer" beds. I have a 62' short uni and a 65' short stylside, 64' they changed to a bed that folowed the lines better, 65' was the 1st yr. for the Twin I beam susp. Good lookin truck, they're alot of fun to drive. You need to join the slick 60's, 61-66' ford truck club.
