Porting my log-head soon,myself.

Hey guys,i'm about to start porting my head soon,and i'm going to open up the hole where the carb goes a little.any ideas on what else i could do to mod this head,besides bigger valves?

Here's a few things:

-Port divider
-Porting and polishing exhaust runners
-Bowl blending
-Polishing chamber
-Valve unshrouding
-3 angle valve job
-Back cut valves

a port divider is a must, no matter what exhaust manifold or header. I had the larger intake valves put in my head, but I don't know what the effect will be. Hopefully I'll find out soon, the head is still sitting on my work bench after a month and a half.

The port divider is useful, but... Plenty of siamese port motors have achieved stunning gains in that state.
