How do I prime the fuel line and get all the air out? I have tried pouring a little gas down the carb(holley 1 bbl on 65 Ford Falcon) , but all I get is a bunch of smoke out the exhaust. It was running great and it had a ton of vacuum when I put my hand on the top of the carb. But that has stopped and it is not really drawing much air out of the top of the carb, is the float stuck?

Simply letting the engine run a bit will fill the float chamber.

You may have flooded the engine by pouring in too much fuel. Try cranking it with the throttle wide open.

It's running a lot better, I adjusted the idle and put a little gas in the fuel filter first and it started running. We'll see if it last.
