I wish I had the guts to ruun a triple set-up. That is so beautiful. It really is teh ideal when opening the hood of a six banger. Mine is a daily driver and it just runs too darn goog right now as is.

Triple carbs, you'd love it! I've seen pictures of your car. I wish I had the guts to do as much custom body work as you have. I went with the Holley glass bowls w/ an early glass bowl fuel pump; talk about too kool 4 skool. And on your custom ride... like I said, you'd love it! As far as reliablity ??? Holley 1904's aren't known for that. I just hope once I get them dialed in they'll be reliable. Can't see why not; they look like real simple carbs to work on. Reliable is the reason I sent one carb out to be rebuilt; they did a crappy job and I should have done it myself!

Well, I'm the proud new owner of a Vacumn and Pressure Test Kit from Sears and the unhappy reader of the results I got from it. I got 2 1/2 to 3 inches of vacuum on the cranking test and the instructions state I should be getting 10. On the running test which is suppose to be at idle Im supposed to get 15 to 20 and even though I could only get the RPM down to 1100 due to some linkage problems, I was at 13 to 14. I pulled the carbs, and on the front carb, I can see where the "O" has slid out of it's groove and it's can be seen sticking about 1/16 + or so of it protruding. I think I may be back to square one and I'll have have to pull the whole thing and start from scratch. As that size O ring is not available locally, I may try the suggestion that came from CobraSix and epoxy putty or jb weld the whole darn thing to the log.
