Question on Lifters

Hi, I just ordered a set of lifters for my 250ci. I have the solid pushrods. Is there a difference in the lifters? I told the guy the engine was a 1973, but I am not sure on that. Please let me know what you think.

All hydraulic lifters for the 170-250 are the same. In fact, they are the same as the lifters used in the 332-428 FE V8 engines.

Thanks Jack! I have just pulled the head. I am going to lap the valves. They don't look bad, but my vacuum was "fluttering" like the valves were sticking. I am going to clean everything up and see if that helps.
