I got the dui dizzy I was just wondering how often do you have to change the cap and modulator.

The cap would need replacement if there are any carbon tracks or burned areas around where the coil mounts.

The main concern is use nylon rotor retaining fasteners & inspect the centrifugal weights below the rotor.
Because of the high electrical field in the rotor area you need to lube the advance weights at the pin & where they contact the advance cam. If left unattended rust buildup is very common in this distributor in the advance mechanism area. Falcon Man
