Am still waiting on my dui dizzy to come but I have a question about the pink resistor wire. If I was to disconnect the pink resistor wire now would it mess anything up? So I don’t have to worry about doing it later when my dui dizzy comes.

The pink resistor wire cuts the voltage down to 6v after the car has started. If you are running a stock coil, the coil must run on 6volts or it will burn out.

so I should just do it when the dui dizzy comes then

Good thing you aren't doing the DSII swap. The instructions on CI site are wrong. When I disconnected my resistor wire and the brown wire I burned up 2 coils in 2 days and killed 1 battery, and a voltage regulator. Rewired it with the resistor wire and brown wire and have had no trouble since.
