Quick exhaust kit question for -67 mustang

Hi, I have a quick question about an exhaust system. Sorry for bringing up yet another exhaust question, but I just had to ask..

I have recently bought a CI dual out header and while looking around for an exhaust system for it I found out that a local store has got this same kit in store: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sdk-65524630hpr

Does anyone have any experience with this system? Do you reckon it would work 'OK' for an inline 6? Since it is a kit for a 65/66 model will it fit on a 67 (of course the front pipes would have to be custom made), but more like the over-axle pipes etc.

It seems to be a reasonable price and since it is available locally I would not have to pay for shipping :)

The sound is not that important, but I don't want it to be to loud or "popping"!
Let me know what you think (other recommendations are welcome)

8) while you can make it work, i would check and see what classicinlines has. taking a system and making it work in an application it wasnt designed for is a false economy.

I have thought about that, but the thing is that I don't live in the US so I can not order a system from the US. It would be to expensive with import fee, shipping, taxes etc. I know this system is not ideal, but i just wanted to know if I can make it fit on my 67. I can always change the mufflers later if I am not happy with them. So will the 65 system fit on a 67?

Thanks /A

Have not used that system but the 1964 to 66 chassis quite different then a 67 up so it won't be an exact fit. You may be able to make it fit if you are willing to cut, section, re weld, and bend it into shape. If you have a muffler shop near you with a bender they could probably make you system also if there is a lot of difference in the cost then might be worth the work to adapt the 65 system. Good luck
