radiator temp how hot

was driving around after flushing my cooling system and it was 104 degrees out,, a guy with a laser temp thing measued 212 degrees at rad cap, I have a 200 ci motor, stock exhaust, 3 row radiator, 3 spd manual tranny, 1bbl carb any ideas as to if this is good or bad?

Mine gets up to 200 degrees on the freeway and 214 sitting in one spot. The outside temp was around 70. I have no idea how old my thermostat is though.

8) 212 running temp in 104 degree weather is not bad. i prefer the temps be below 200 degrees, but as long as you dont get above 225 or so, and the temp gauge remains stable, you are good to go.
