I recently had my engine listened to by my mechanic to figure out what was causing the rattling sound coming from the header side of the eng.
He poked around with a stethoscope and said it was coming from inside of one of the header pipes, so when I got home I listened to it and it seemed to be coming from the 3 middle pipes. What could this be? Anyone had this happen before?

Either the port divider came loose or you've got an exhaust leak which sounds very much like a rattle or lifter noise. Just had the exhaust gasket replaced and you would not believe the difference. By the way I have Clifford headers and the gasket was burnt in the middle ports.

If it happens to be the gasket and you have a Clifford header I have a brand new Clifford gasket I can sell you cheaper than Clifford.
