Not to be negative here, but I have read many posts from lots of guys wanting to go EFI on there ford six. Maybe I just don't see the big picture cause I don't see where this upgrade is worth the $500-1000. in parts and computer vrs the beneifit! If your going to go Boosted with high P.S.I. and want to be able to drive it on the streets idel to WOT I could see it, but if your looking for better MPG and smoother idel the Webbers/Holley 5200 are almost as good and lots cheaper and less trouble. The EFI will not out perform a properly tuned carb with 12:1 A/R, though it will get better MPG and probably pass a smog test if your state has them. When I had a Holley 5200 on my stock 200 engine I was getting 28 mpg on the highway and around 18-20 city, it ran smoothe at idel and had lots more power than the stock 1V carbsl. Just my two cents here, do as you like, I just don't see the beneifit for the money?
