When removing the choke on a 350 Holley for turbo application does one remove the whole shroud or do you just take the butterfly out???? does the shroud have a negative effect if you leave it there???
Should have some exciting pics in a couple of weeks
Thanks all :D :D :D

I personally sterted off by just removing the butterfly, then later removed the entire choke horn (I believe thats what your talking about) it ran fine with it though, I figured it might flow better when I up the boost eventually)

If I thought it was restricting on this engine I might try to modify it. If it isn't restricting then you might cause more problems. I have never been one to apply mores law. I also do what I feel it needs not what everyone else is doing. If you are gonna modify something, do it because it's needed, not because somebody else did it. :D

If this is a blow thru setup it probably doesn't need it and wont benefet from it. If it is a draw thru it might help but it would benefit more from a stub stack or a larger carb.

I am not saying it wont increase airflow. I am saying you may not need to increase it and depending on the carb bonnet you use, you may cause problems.
