scv. on a 5200???

Ok I'm running a 5200 and coming off the manafold for vac. for the dizzy??? Is this good or bad?? dose the 5200 have A scv??

Howdy Jim:

No, the 5200 does not have a SCV.

What distributor are your using? If it is a '67 or earlier, Load-a-matic, It will not work as designed. If a '68 and later, use a ported vacuum source from the carb.

More details are always helpful in email diagnosis.

Thanks David, I'm sorry I should have listed the yr. 68 stock dizzy.
I had the DS-11 but it left me sitting at a stop light one day so I took it out.
