probably not safe to boost right? No matter what I do, I just can't it to stop though. Something about its just the way the coolant passages were designed in the early inline ford blocks...? I just want to make everything safe for boost...

Boost isn't going to increase coolant leak, to much boost will be your problem if you blow out your combustion seal or if you have an blowby it will be dramatically increased.

in your sig you list " 200 - 250 oz head" are those directly compatipal?? or in other words Does the US 200 and the OZ 250 take the same headgasket?

Just like the 200 and 250 heads here are interchangeable, so is the OZ 250 head with the American blocks. The only thing I had to make sure of was the combustion chamber size to make sure my compression ratio would stay close to the same

Howdy JMG:

What head gasket are you using? Did you check and/or mill the head flat prior to installing? How did you torque the head? How much? what CR are you using?

Just some thoughts.

Adios, David

Felpro head gasket. Checked to make sure it was flat. Used the Ford torque pattern and torqued to spec. 9.1:1 CR if i recall correctly...
