I just got a Offy 3x1 intake for a late model 200 and after reading there seems to be some debate on which carbs to use.

I was going to use 3 Holley 1946's since I have 2 now but I have done some searching but they dont seem to be in favour.

I have seen people say both good and bad about the 1100's

Im not going to bother trying to find a set of the glass bowl Holley's.

The Weber 34 ICH/ICT's seem popular but I will have to locate a set for cheap.

So which carb is most commonly used here?

3 Holley 1908s with glass bowl covers. I have one with a glass bowl cover. I am going to try and find 2 more. That is my plan so I did not vote.....

Well...automotive aftermarket performance and last words never go hand in hand.

Problem lies in that while I ran with no problems with the 1100s, I didn't run any other combination for comparison. Few have.

Why did I go with the 1100s? Well, with the air cleaner I wanted to use, I needed as much clearance as I could get with the early mustang hood. 1100s are the shortest of the carb choices in terms of height. They are also more readily available and cheaper then the other carbs generally are.

Anyone with the tripower setup worried about how the fuel lines sit over the exahust headers?

I was thinking braided stainless fuel lines or rerouting the lines to the block side of the manifold.
