stalling on turns????

if you cut the wheel hard to do a 90 degree turn going kind of fast my car will stall... i've herd thats because the gas slides out of reach in the carb were EFI it doesnt... is this a carb thing??

Check the float level.

What type of carb is it?

when I corner hard...I smell gas....and I smell it on hills too....float too high?
