just trying to research for some long term plans, so bear with me here. i searched the site with many keywords, and haven't really found what i'm looking for. i'm looking for options for putting a more modern (aka fully synchronized) stick shift behind a "small-block" six (prefer a 200, already got one in the stang, so parts buying in pairs would be easier) and be able to hook a transfer case up to it. overdrive is not a requirement, doesnt matter if its a 3 or 4 speed either.
basically i'm trying to find a way to throw my bronco II body onto a 66-77 bronco frame/running gear, but with a newer transmission.
any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
*edit--> oh yeah, i have a spare 3 speed from a mustang. is there a way to mod it to where i can shift from 2-1? and hook a t-case to it?
