Still playing with the carby.

After fitting the 34ADM to my 200, I have been playing around trying to tune it. At some point in my infinite wisdom I adjusted the float level because my engine kept on stopping after 30 seconds or so of running. It turned out to be another problem. Anyway, does anyone have the stock float level for this carby and if so, is it the float level I should be using? I think the jets are close because I get nice tan plugs, but is it still worth going to a carby tuning place to get it tuned? Is there a possibility of more power? One final question: I am running a XF dizzy at the moment with a 200ci advance pattern(shaft clearance doesn't seem to be a problem). Since I have changed cams, do I need to get the distributer recurved? Would this also give more power?

ok this is from memory ok... it may be a bit out... but pull the op of the carby.... with it up in the air, slide a 10mm drill bit between the body and the float, turn it up the other way and a 7mm drill bit should fit through it.. Its somthing along them marks

Thanks for your help. Were you just running the 34ADM on a stock motor, or did the motor have any mods?

i had the webber on my first motor... it was a stock re-build with just a c2 alloy head, and a small 500 lift 215@050 cam.. never dynoed it
